The Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, located in Central Lombok, hosted its inaugural MotoGP race in 2022 and the Indonesian Grand Prix has since become a flagship event on the MotoGP calendar. The circuit is part of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK Mandalika), a government-backed tourism development spanning over 1,175 hectares along Lombok's southern coastline.
